Nearly 1.89 million pupils are registered on the "Vie Scolaire" platform as of 6 September 2026, that is 90% of the pupils concerned, according to the figures released by the Ministry of Education. The school year starts on 15 September.
How many pupils have paid their fees?
1.781 million pupils have completed the payment of their registration fees as of 6 September. That is 85% of the total. In other words, 15% have not yet paid.
The pace is picking up. In just three days, the ministry recorded around 199,000 new registrations, compared to 1.691 million on 3 September. Payments followed the same rhythm: 194,000 more over the same period, after 1.587 million (76%) on 3 September.
How to register and pay?
Registration for 2026-2027 is done exclusively online, via the "Vie Scolaire" platform, for all levels of public education. This is part of the rollout of distance registration.
For the fees, the Tunisian Post offers several electronic payment methods, with no extra charges: the e-Dinar Wallet, the D17 account, bank cards, or the *181# code from your phone.
Haven't paid yet?
You have one week left before the start of the school year on 15 September. If you have registered but not paid, you can settle your fees through one of the Tunisian Post payment methods listed above, without going anywhere.
And for final-year pupils, the year ahead is bac year. You can already get ahead: the bac average calculator lets you simulate your average right now, and the archive of bac past papers and mark schemes will be useful from your first tests. Orientation comes next, with the university orientation simulator to help you prepare your choices.
The ministry has not released any new figures since 6 September. We will update this article if a new number comes out before the start of the school year.
