The orientation cycle for 2026 bac holders is wrapping up. The reorientation session, open from August 15 to 19, closed its online entries this week: results will be published on September 4, the last major step before the academic year starts.

Who can still claim a seat

Reorientation lets you adjust your choices to your score, within available seats. It covers candidates left unplaced after both rounds, and those who want to adjust their track. Alongside this online channel, special applications based on medical, social or talent grounds are filed exclusively by registered mail, from August 17 to 20.

September 4, two lists

That day brings both the reorientation results and those of Tunisian students enrolled in foreign universities, whose procedure ran from July 6 to August 7. If no placement comes through, an automatic assignment remains guaranteed, to a track close to your bac section and your home, based on vacant seats.

The 2026 cycle in numbers

  • 35.67% pass rate in the main session, with 55,259 admitted out of 154,928 candidates
  • 50.72% after the make-up session, 78,575 graduates in total
  • Main placements announced on August 7, final session on August 12

In 2025 the overall rate stood at 52.59%, against 50.72% this year. Universities open their doors in the coming weeks, and each institution publishes its own enrollment calendar.

For future candidates, preparing the bac 2027 starts now: the past papers and corrections remain the most reliable training base, and the bac calendar updates as soon as next year’s dates drop.
