The Ministry of Education published the 2026 university orientation guide on June 23, 2026 on orientation.tn, the exclusive platform for all placements of the 2026 bac holders. Here is the complete timeline and the rules that matter.
How to log in
Access requires three things: your 6-digit bac number, your national ID number and a confidential password. The password is obtained by SMS to 85000, texting pwd followed by a space and your bac number. The SMS only works from the phone number declared at your bac registration, available from June 24.
The complete calendar
- June 23: orientation guide goes online
- June 26: choice selection opens for main-session admits
- July 3 to 5: top-graduates session, results on July 8
- July 15: choice selection opens for make-up session admits
- July 27 to 31: choice entry, main session
- August 7: orientation results, main session
- August 7 to 9: final session for unplaced candidates, results on August 12
- August 10 to 14: specific exams for tracks with entry tests
- August 15 to 19: reorientation
The rules that matter
You must list at least 6 track choices for your file to be processed, and you can edit them until your session closes. All admitted students take part, whether they passed the main or the make-up session: the ministry formally denied rumors reserving the main window for main-session admits.
A safety net also exists: if you are not placed, an automatic assignment is guaranteed to a track close to your bac section and your home, based on available seats.
The trap to avoid
Some tracks hold specific exams from August 10 to 14. If you are called and do not attend, you lose access to that track even if your file was accepted.
